Feedback from a classroom presentation for The Haunting

Though The Haunting is intended for ages ten through fourteen, it can be read aloud to younger children. Ms. Moulton, a teacher in West Sacramento, read the novel to her 4th grade class. Here is some shameless bragging: It was one of the favorite books they read during the year! The kids made a poster and begged to meet the author. We travelled to the classroom and gave a presentation on creative expression. What a great experience!

Dear Kristin,

Thank you so much for coming to our school last week. Your presentation was well received, I especially enjoyed your message about being good environmental stewards. Your talents and hard work were recognized by the students. We enjoyed hearing you read an excerpt from one of your books, the students were engaged by the creative story line. We heard from a grandma of one of our more challenging students who ended up telling her all about how he wants to become an author someday just like you. Wow! Your impact was so positive.

Thank you also for the donation of two books. The kids all want to read Snake Food.
